About The Authors

In 2009, Matt May founded Verve Central Productions to provide quality entertainment and services to its clients and audiences through special events & entertainment, theatrical production, creative & business consulting, and education. Through the company’s team building division, Premier Team Building & Interactive Experiences®, collaborative programs are delivered to clients nation-wide and internationally. Matt has produced and facilitated hundreds of large and small-group experiences. As the company’s president, he is responsible for the design & development of its team building and interactive experiences, overseeing the production and facilitation of these programs, customer support, and staff training.

In his career, May has served as a producer, director, manager, administrator, educator, and consultant for various event and live entertainment, theatrical, and educational organizations.

A sought-after speaker and published author, Take The Fear Out Of Team Building and Don’t Fight The Flow: Following Your Organic Path (both available on Amazon), Matt excitedly shares his passions and experiences nationwide.

Matt is the co-author/producer of the award-winning theatrical musical comedy DIEGO & DREW SAY I DO. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Theatre Arts and Arts Administration, and a Master of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Arts.


A lifelong creative, Billy Mitchell has designed books, posters, mailers, digital assets, and dozens of other projects over the years. Highlights include Tony-nominee Branda Braxton’s “Little Black Book of Backstage Etiquette” (winner of the NY Book Show Award for Best Book Cover), a series of cookbooks designed for Broadway Cares, t-shirts and greeting cards for his independent MadMadPenguin brand, and various mazes & puzzles.

With more than two decades of advertising design for Broadway and Off-Broadway, Billy has also written, directed, and performed for audiences all over the country. He has proudly presented his original fill-in-the-blanks whodunnit, “Villain: DeBlanks,” at venues all around NYC, LA, and London, as well as at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where it was hailed the Best Comedy for Families by the Sunday Herald.
